  8. 8. BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS CRITTERGY On Sunday, October 6 we will hold our 2nd Annual Blessing of the Animals. The Crittergy will be held at Leeson Park at 4:00 pm. All pets and their people are invited to join us.

  10. 10. WINE, WOMEN AND THE WORD Monday, October 7 6:30 pm in the Martin Luther Room We will discuss the book, “Same Kind of Different as Me, “ by Ron Hall and Denver Moore. ~This is an incredibly inspirational and true story overflowing with life’s lessons that will capture any heart.
  11. 11. CHILI COOK-OFF OSLC will be hosting their First Annual Chili Cook-off on Sunday, October 13. Anyone interested in making chili please sign up by September 25. Registration forms are in the Commons and the office.
  12. 12. CHILI COOK-OFF At Noon on October 13 everyone is invited to come to Fellowship Hall to eat and vote. We will have the Packer game on. Cost to eat is $5 per adult, $2.50 for children. Prizes of all kinds will be awarded.
