  • 3. How ZOE began
    Greg Jenks began ZOE ministry in 2004. ZOE stands for Zimbabwe Orphan Endeavor which is where ZOE initially began. They then changed ZOE to mean “life” from the Greek word “zoe”.
    Greg receives help from the North Carolina United Methodist Conference.
  • 4. Relief Ministry includes:
    help to African orphans in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Rwanda, and Kenya by:
    Food Aid
    Medical Care
    Education Fees
    Clothing Programs
    Clean Water Projects
  • 5. UNICEF
  • 6. What does UNICEF do?
    Provides orphans:
    Immunizations
    Clean water/Food
    Sanitation
    Bed nets
    Nutrition information
    Safety from child trafficking/abuse.
  • 7. UNICEF will not stop fighting for orphans until ZERO children die by preventable causes each day.
  • 8. WWO
  • 9. Mission Statement
    “To transform the lives of orphaned children by taking them out of anonymity and helping them to become healthy, independent, productive members of their communities and the world.”

    start a WWO Club at school
    do a report or research project about the condition of orphans in the world
    invite a WWO representative to speak at your school
    organize fundraisers
    visit the WWO store
