  • UW – OSP GRANTS.GOV TRAINING
    • Why Grants.gov?
        • Public Law (PL) 106-107: Federal Financial Assistance Management Improvement Act of 1999 to:
        • Improve the effectiveness and performance of Federal financial assistance program
        • Simplify Federal financial assistance application and reporting requirements
        • Improve the delivery of services to the public
  • UW – OSP GRANTS.GOV TRAINING
        • When do I use Grants.gov?
        • Depends on the agency and program requirements. Some sponsors (e.g., NIH, NOAA) currently use Grants.gov; some (e.g., NSF) are still in transition.
        • Eventually, all Federal granting agencies will require the submission of proposals via Grants.gov.
  • UW – OSP GRANTS.GOV TRAINING
        • Sponsor and Program Announcement dictate which form is used. The look and feel of the forms are almost identical.
        • Search and Download processes remain the same
        • Downloaded packages will open in either Adobe or Pure Edge.
    Pure Edge / Adobe formats
