Tchaikovsky’s life <ul><li>Tchaikovsky was born in Votinsk, Russia on May 7, 1840 </li></ul><ul><li>His father, Illya Petrovitch, and his mother, Alexandra were fond of his music </li></ul><ul><li>After the first few years of his life, they thought nothing of his music </li></ul><ul><li>They sent him to a boarding school where he was trained to become a servant at age 12 </li></ul>
  3. 3. Musical Talents <ul><li>At first, his parents wanted him to go to Law school, but he soon got board musical of it </li></ul><ul><li>He then discovered his talent </li></ul><ul><li>When he was older he attended his fourth symphony. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Tragedy <ul><li>A few days after his first marriage, Tchaikovsky started to feel depressed </li></ul><ul><li>He tried to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge and into a frozen lake because he soon found that he was not fond of women </li></ul>
  5. 5. The Passing <ul><li>He died on November 6, 1893 at the age of 53. </li></ul><ul><li>His death was traditionally contributed to Cholera, but some say it was suicide. </li></ul><ul><li>Fin </li></ul>
