  • 1. HEAL help, encouragement and love A St. Peter Claver Church Ministry “We must speak to them with our hands before we speak to them with our lips.” -St. Peter Claver
  • 2. What is HEAL? Many of us will encounter illness during our lifetime. Too often, people who at one time were visibly active and productive in our parish have become isolated, neglected, and forgotten because of sickness or life circumstances. Illness can be a temporary situation that disrupts the normal flow of life and often places hardships on individuals and families. HEAL wants to help. The goal of this ministry is to gain a greater awareness of the state of our temporarily and permanently home bound parishioners, to recognize their tremendous spiritual contribution to our Church, and to provide opportunities of assistance that would allow them to experience closer ties with our parish family. This is accomplished with Help, Encouragement, and Love HEAL If you would like to become a part of the HEAL Team, please contact: Kim Green: kimgreen0647@sbcglobal.net Gigi Frailey: gigifrailey@yahoo.com Or contact the Rectory: (860) 561-4235

  • 6. I Believe I believe that You are with me in my climb up mountains tall; and I know your Spirit guides me as I cross paths big and small. I believe that You are near me tho’ it seems You’re out of sight; never do You leave my presence, You are with me day and night. I believe that You invite me to take shelter in Your heart; without any force upon me You await my willing start. I believe that You assist me in my times of pain and stress; and You offer peaceful comfort to restore true happiness. I believe that You are gracious as You follow my life’s trend; trusting in Your Faithful promise, I believe Your love won’t end. -Sr. Marie Roccapriore, MPF
