    • Animals of Australia
    • Kangaroo
      • There are 60 kinds of kangaroo in Australia. The biggest one is the red kangaroo. It can be more than 2 metres tall
    • Dingo
      • Dingoes are dog-like animals that live in Australia.
    • Koala
      • The Koala is a small marsupial that lives in eucalyptus (gum) trees in Australia. These animals spend 18 to 20 hours each day resting and sleeping. They are social animals who live in territories.
    • Kookaburra
      • The Kookaburra is a large bird. Its call sounds like human laughter. Kookaburras are carnivorous. They eat lizards, snakes, insects, mice, other small birds, and raw meat.
    • Wallaby
      • They are small- to medium-sized kangaroos. There are 30 different types of wallabies that live in many types of habitats, including rocky areas, grasslands, forests and swamps.
    • Wombat
      • Wombats are Australian marsupials; they are short-legged, muscular quadrupeds, approximately 1 metre (39 in) in length with a very short tail.Wombats dig extensive burrow systems with rodent-like front teeth and powerful claws.
    • Aborigines
      • Aborigines lived in Australia for at least 12,000 years before they appeared in Europe.
