  • 1. Integrating ZOHO Reports with OpManager Cool reports from the cloud !
  • 2. Step1: Download the zreports uploader
    • Save this file under your opmanager/zohoreports folder
    • zoho reports uploader
    • http://bonitas.zohocorp.com/customer_uploads/2011_11_22_6_0_5_ZohoReports.zip
  • 3. Step2 : Create a dabase in zreports
    • Go to http://reports.zoho.com
    • Create a database called MyTestDB

  • 4. Step3: Edit database_connection_params.conf
    • Edit the file opmanager/zohoreports/uploader/ conf/database_connection_params.xml
    • # $Id$
    • DBTYPE=sqlserver
    • HOSTNAME=opmanager-win2k8-1
    • PORT=1433
    • USERNAME=sa
    • PASSWORD=password
    • DBNAME=opmanagerdb
    • MDBFILENAME=
  • 5. Step4: Edit database_sql_queries.xml
    • Edit the file opmanager/zohoreports/uploader/ conf/database_sql_queries.xml

  • 6. Step5: Execute UploadFromDB.bat
    • Execute the file opmanager/zohoreports/uploader/bin/ UploadFromDB.bat
    • usage: uploadfromdb.bat <yourzohousername> <yourzohopassword>
  • 7. Check if data is shown in zreports
    • go to http://reports.zoho.com
    • check if a new table called TableRowCount is created
  • 8. Step6 : Automate batch file execution
    • Using Windows Task Scheduler run the batch file every 1 hour
  • 9. Step7: Embed the data into OpManager
    • Create a HTML widget and embed the data back into opmanager
