    opencoffee bucharest opencoffee bucharest Presentation Transcript

    • OpenCoffee Bucharest
    • The Spirit of OpenCofee
      • "Imagine it more as:
        • a big open lounge
        • where people come and go,
        • talk to others in their industry,
        • showcase demo’s of what they are working on,
        • save the world,
        • and ultimately maybe get some work done
        • and run a few small meetings."
        • not another social media networking;
        • more demonstrations;
        • no name badges or colour coded tags;
        • filtering the people, cult e-cademy != "overwhelmingly positive can-do atmosphere, and the very high signal-to-noise ratio.";
        • Journalists, VC’s, and Angels are welcome;
        • move away from the pitch to the conversation;
      Standard "rules"
    • What do we need?
        • a blog www.opencoffeebucharest.ro;
        • promote each week a club member;
        • banners for the members' blogs; ex: "I'm a proud member of OpenCoffee Bucharest - Next Meeting [day] [month]";
        • accounts & groups: linkedin, facebook, meetup, upcoming, twitter & everything helps us find "enlightened" minds;
        • invite & encourage OpenCoffee in other towns of Romania;
    • What for?
        • Bucharest OpenCoffee spirit: develop and stimulate creativity, initiative and inspiration through open talks;
        • knowledge share in an open-minded atmosphere;
        • encourage and help ideas grow;
        • ensure an open space for "nobodies" and treat them like the new "somebodies" (ispired by Guy Kawasaki);
        • least but not last become learn and stick to being "open";
      • Thank you,
      • Limmonica
