    1. People lie for a lot of reasons. More often than not, is to protect their welfare and sometimes of others. Yet, whether it is a small lie or a large one, it is still a lie and more and more people are desperate to learn about the body language of a liar for them to detect if indeed that person is trustworthy enough with his words and actions. This would entail that person might be lying or holding back something from you. If you feel that they are doing either, make sure you notice their posture, which is rigid, and other movements as well.
