  8. 8. helpless
  9. 9. DeepTHINKINGwhat could be done now?
  10. 10. Let’s Jump out...as humans do...
  11. 11. the other frogs around, started shouting “don’t do that – it will hurt you more”

  14. 14. he DIED
  15. 15. while the other one, continued to jump as hard as he could.this one
  16. 16. Once again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die.
  17. 17. he jumped even harder andfinally made it out.when he got out, the other frogs said,"Did you not hear us?"
  18. 18. The frog explained to them that he was deaf.He thought they were encouraging him the entire time.
  19. 19. This story teaches two lessons There is power of life and death in the tongue. Anencouraging word to someone who is down can lift them up and help them make it through the day.A destructive word to someone who is down can be what it takes to kill them.
  20. 20. Be careful of what you say. Speaklife to those who cross your path. The power of words... it issometimes hard to understand thatan encouraging word can go such along way. Anyone can speak wordsthat tend to rob another of the spiritto continue in difficult times. Specialis the individual who will take thetime to encourage another.
  21. 21. The 4 Wives
  22. 22. Story of a Rich Merchant 04 The Man Who Had beloved wives
  23. 23. The fourth wife... He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to delicacies. He took great care of her and gave her nothing but the best.
  24. 24. The third wife... He also loved the 3rd wife very much. Hes very proud of her and always wanted to show off her to his friends. However, the merchant is always in great fear that she might run away with some other men.
  25. 25. The second wife... He too, loved his 2nd wife. She is a very considerate person, always patient and in fact is the merchants confidante. Whenever the merchant faced some problems, he always turned to his 2nd wife and she would always help him out and tide him through difficult times.
  26. 26. The first wife... Now, the merchants 1st wife is a very loyal partner and has made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and business as well as taking care of the household. However, the merchant did not love the first wife and although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her .
  27. 27. one day merchant went ill... diagnosed cancer told merchant ‘you have only a day to go’
  28. 28. He knew he is going to die... he knew that he was going to die soon. He thought of his luxurious life and told himself, "Now I have 4 wives with me. But when I die, Ill be alone. How lonely Ill be!"
  29. 29. he called his fourth wife and said "I loved you most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that Im dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No way!" replied the 4th wife and she walked away without another word
  30. 30. he then called his third wife and said "I have loved you so much for all my life. Now that Im dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No!" replied the 3rd wife. "Life is so good over here! Im going to remarry when you die!" The merchants heart sank and turned cold.
  31. 31. he then called second wife and said "I always turned to you for help and youve always helped me out. Now I need your help again. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?" "Im sorry, I cant help you out this time!" replied the 2nd wife.
  32. 32. Suddenly, a VOICE came... It was his 1 st wife “ I will leave with you. Ill follow you no matter where you go.“ The merchant looked up and there was his first wife. She was so skinny, almost like she suffered from malnutrition. Greatly grieved, the merchant said, "I should have taken much better care of you while I could have !"
  33. 33. Actually, we all have 4 wives in our lives
  34. 34. Our 4th Wife... The 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, itll leave us when we die.
  35. 35. Our 3rd Wife... Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, they all go to others.
  36. 36. Our 2nd Wife... The 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how close they had been there for us when were alive, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave.
  37. 37. Our 1st Wife... The 1st wife is in fact our soul, often neglected in our pursuit of material, wealth and sensual pleasure.
  38. 38. MORAL: Don’t neglect your soulCultivate and strengthen itnow rather than to wait untilwere on our deathbed tolament

  46. 46. Shortly, the old man received this telegram:“For Heaven’s sake, Dad, don’t dig up thegarden!! That’s where I buried the GUNS!” Love, your son

  49. 49. Confused, the old man wrote another note tohis son telling him what happened, andasked him what to do next. His son’s reply was:“Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Dad.It’s the best I could do for you from here.”
  50. 50. MORAL: You Are Never Helpless No Matter Where Are You in the World or Facing Whatever CircumstancesIf you have decided to do something from the very deep of your heart, you can do itTo make a difference in ones life, you do not need all the resources you want

  53. 53. An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung onthe ends of a pole, which she carried across her neck.
  54. 54. One of the pots had acrack in it while theother pot was perfectand always delivered afull portion of water. At the end of the longwalk from the stream tothe house, the crackedpot arrived only half full.
  55. 55. Of course, the perfect potwas proud of its endeavors. But the poor cracked potwas ashamed of its ownimperfection, and miserablethat it could only do half ofwhat it had been made todo.
  56. 56. After 2 years of what itperceived to be bitterfailure, it spoke to thewoman one day by thestream. “I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in myside causes water to leakout all the way back to yourhouse.”
  57. 57. The old woman smiled, “Did you notice that there are flowers onyour side of the path, but not on the other pot’s side? That’s because I have always known about your flaw, so I plantedflower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while wewalk back, you water them.”
  58. 58. That’s because I have always known about your flaw, so Iplanted flower seeds on your side of the path, and everyday while we walk back, you water them.”“For two years I have been able to pick these beautifulflowers to sell them and run my family.”
  59. 59. Without you being just the way you are, there would notbe this beauty to grace the house and sell rest ofthem.”
  60. 60. MORAL: Weaknesses are Strengths  Each of us has his own unique flaw…  But it’s the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding.  You’ve just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them.
