  • Vessel (body), soil(beliefs), nutrients (thoughts and feelings), plants (Actions), water (nurturing), sunshine acknowledgement
  • Active or Passive?
  • Passive: Chicken head cut off (already dead), addict searching for fix (driven - not driver) Running around ... Lots of activity ... but very passive.
  • Active: planning, meditation, contemplation ... Actively directing your life Often so frantic we miss opportunity, so driven we don’t drive our own lives Take the time to plan ... Choose ... Be the change
  • Prevent acid rain; provide something of value for neighbourhood ; Make best friends
  • Appropriately express your feelings - safely ... Journal ( write - read - rip ) Weeding (removing negative thoughts) , creating space for new ...
  • Emotional nourishment, watering, enriching the soil, appreciation of emotional nature Gratitude Journal - minimum 5 things each day
  • Acknowledge - Shine a light on what is right; .... Value - reward effort
  • What does their garden need ... Do unto others what they Need Joy of giving ... It nurtures your garden, allows use of your strengths. Give unexpectedly; Makes you feel good...
  • Story telling tradition - lyrical ritual understand concept - remember stories
  • Monkey - hose - fear - Replace 1 monkey at a time .. Remaining Fear .. The way it is always done ...
  • Professor ... Variety cups ... Nicest cups first ... source of problems and stress. What you really want coffee, not the cup , but went for the better cup, comparing cups . If Life is coffee , then the jobs, money and position are cups. Cups just tools to hold and contain Life, but the quality of Life doesn’t change. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee in it. ” So don’t let the cups drive you…enjoy the coffee instead. Being happy does not mean everything is perfect. It means you have decided to see beyond the imperfection.
  • The office water cooler can really bring out the best (and worst/most frightening/more bizarre) things in oneself and in one’s colleagues.
  • What do you want? Remember planning is an active step - stops putting out fires
  • Own what you want ... and Why!
  • Gratitude ... appreciate what and who you have ... sunshine
  • Acknowledge what you want repeated - the key to success . . What you acknowledge is repeated
  • New habits ... built by practice ... takes time Neurones in the brain - wire together .. fire together
  • Start now ... Don’t wait for others ... Be the change you want to experience
