Joining requirements <ul><li>ASN (Autonomous System Number) </li></ul><ul><li>BGP-4 (Border Gateway Protocol Version 4) </li></ul><ul><li>Needs to sign a connection agreement (“Termo de Conexão ao PTTMetro”). </li></ul><ul><li>Needs to make bilateral or multilateral peering agreements with ISPs connected to the PTTMetro. </li></ul><ul><li>Connection in one PIX per location. </li></ul><ul><li>Broadcast traffic limited to ARP resolution </li></ul><ul><li>Default route to an ISP only if authorized by it. </li></ul><ul><li>If announce IP prefixes related to other AS connected to PTTMetro it needs to be marked with NEXT_HOP_SELF </li></ul>
