ASP.NET ASP.NET is a development framework for crating web pages and websites with HTML, CSS( Cascading Style Sheets ), JavaScript and server scripting. ASP.NET 1.0 was released on January 5, 2002 as part of version 1.0 of the .NET Framework ASP.NET supports three different development models: Web Pages, MVC (Model View Controller), and Web Forms: Web Pages -Simplest ASP.NET model. -Similar to PHP and classic ASP. -Built-in templates and helpers for database, video, graphics, soc social media and more.
  • 10.  MVC( Model View Controller) -MVC separates web applications into 3 different components: -Models for data -Views for display -Controllers for input Web Forms -The traditional ASP.NET event driven development model: -Web pages with added server controls, server events, and server code.

How works ASP. net? fundamentally an ASP.NET page is just the same as an HTML page. The coding part & designing part are separately divided. We can include coding part of asp.net in both vb.net & c#.net language. While writing vb.net & c# program, we can give extension to that program as aspx.vb & aspx.cs Designing part are built in html pages.
