  • 12. INSTRUMENTS TO ACHIEVE IT INCLUDE:1.LIBRARY ORGANIZEDLECTURES AND SYMPOSIA TOEXHIBIT THEIR INSTITUTE’SEVIDENCE-BASED RESOURCESTO THEIR WIDERCOMMUNITY. (Sawaya, et al, 2009).
  • 13. 2.USE OF AUDIO-VISUALS, CD ANDTAPE RECORDERS. IT IS COMMONKNOWLEDGE THAT A RURAL YAMFARMER WILL UNDERSTAND ANDAPPRECIATE VIDEO RECORD OF YAMPLANTING PROCESSES THAN A TEXTFORMAT OF SAME.
  • 14. 3.“BAREFOOT LIBRARIANS” –INFORMATION PROFESSIONALS THATWILL GO OUT TO THE COMMUNITY TOFIND OUT WHAT KNOWLEDGE THEYWANT THAT THE RESEARCH INSTITUTEPROVIDES AND COME BACK TOPACKAGE IT IN THE MOST SUITABLEFORMAT FOR THE USERS’UNDERSTANDING AND USE.
