Case presentation based on clinical chemistry abnormalities. This case is that of a 9yo FS Hound-X with multiple abnormalities on chemistry and CBC, all of which were eventually attributed to chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic adenocarcinoma with widespread multiorgan metastasis (resulting in DIC and eventual humane euthanasia). This was a patient of mine on my soft tissue surgery rotation, and I followed her case following cessation of my rotation. This presentation was given for senior clinical pathology rotation (VMP 978).
