As I said earlier though, I don’t believe it is an ‘either/or’ scenario . A recent survey for the National Literacy Trust found that children who blog, text or use social networking websites are more confident about their reading and writing skills.
…and they realize that there is no need to physically write anything done anymore. How will schools deal with this and have teacher at least though of it…?
There are a significant number of commercially available titles that have great application for use in the curriculum – educationally valid, and having a significant impact on the engagement of the pupil in their learning.
