How to Download Microsoft Clip Art How to Download Microsoft Clip Art Presentation Transcript

  • Downloading Clip Art from Microsoft Office Online Gallery for use in Word and Print Shop
  • Choose “Word Publishing Layout”
  • Click Online Click Insert/Clip Art/Clip Art Gallery View slide
  • Click “Yes” to be sent to the Microsoft Office Clip Art website View slide
  • Click on Safari/Preferences
  • Click on “Save downloaded files to” and click, “other”
  • Click on “New Folder”
  • Create a name for your folder and click, “Create”
  • Click, “Select” in this screen
  • You have now changed the file where to where you will download the clip art images. **You will need to change this folder back to, “Downloads” when finished with your clip art** Follow the same steps you used to add
  • Next you can begin searching for Clip Art!
  • You can select the type of clip art you would like to search Click on the image you would like and click, “Download”
  • Importing Your New Clip Art to a Word Document
  • Select “Import” In this screen you will want to find the folder that you created to download your Clip Art to. Be sure to click on “Copy into Clip Gallery” so that you can use this file for Print Shop also. Finally, click, “Import.”
  • Select the Clip Art that you would like and select “Import” *Hint-to select multiple files, hold down the “Command” key and select all of the files that you would like.
  • The “Properties” box will appear. Select “Categories” In the Categories tab you can either select an existing category or create a “New Category” When you select a “New Category” you will be prompted to enter text
  • In your Word Document you will now see the new Category that you created in this box as well as the Clip Art that you have imported.
  • In Print Shop Select “Import” when you are in the “Select a Graphic” box. The Downloads folder will appear and the folder that you created with your Clip Art can be selected. Importing Clip Art to Print Shop
