Addressing the eLearning Challenge <ul><li>To produce e-content improving the way students learn and teachers teach is harder than expected: it requires a combination of expertise and competences. </li></ul><ul><li>For mathematics , </li></ul><ul><ul><li>professional mathematicians, </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>software engineers, </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>publishers, </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>learning theorists, </li></ul></ul><ul><li>should be enabled to productively talk to each other. </li></ul>

Criteria for Adding New Members <ul><li>New partners to join JEM must have demonstrated excellence in developing and/or using one or more of the following: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>eContent in education in sciences </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>relevant technology for e-Learning </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>theoretical background empowering new and innovative ways to use technology in education. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Preference will be given to organizations from countries not yet represented within the network. </li></ul>
