  • 4. AND HERE WE GO!
  • 5. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY FOR HIKING!
  • 6. LOOKS LIKE A DIFFICULT WAY?
  • 7. DON’T WORRY - WE HAD SOME FRIENDS HELPING US 
  • 8. THEN SOME PRACTICAL LESSONS OF GEOLOGY...
  • 9. GETTING TO KNOW GRANITE..
  • 10. AND WE FOUND A QUARTZ VEIN! 
  • 11. WHILE OTHERS TOOK A REST – WE KEPT ON GOING...
  • 12. TO GET OUR REWARD!
  • 13. AFTER A LONG-LONG WAY...
  • 14. PROFESSOR LEE WAS STILL FULL OF ENERGY!
  • 15. AND THEN CAME THE NIGHT...
  • 16. AND DARKNESS GAINED COMMAND OF US...
  • 17. WHAT HAPPENED IN THE DARK? IS IT A BEAR??
  • 18. NO.. IT’S JUST A HARMLESS RACCOON!
  • 19. <ul><li>~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ </li></ul><ul><li>The raccoon's glimmering eyes reminded us of putting our headlamps on and shooting stars in a crystal-clear night sky led our way through the darkness. In a final effort we took a steep descent down into the &quot;valley of 1 0 00 Buddhas&quot;, where Bongjeongam temple's heated floors were awaiting our tired bodies. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ </li></ul>

  • 28. ... TO A NARROW VALLEY.
  • 29. WE FOLLOWED OUR FRIENDS...
  • 30. AND FOUND A WATERFALL!
  • 31. WHAT A WELCOME REFRESHMENT!
  • 32. IN THE END WE DIDN’T TAKE THE MOST DIFFICULT ROUTE 
