    • The first thing you should do is pick it apart, and consider what other issues you may be able to intertwine.
    • Marketing
    • Endorsement
    • Task – Do these two words mean the same thing? If different, how?
    • Can you think of celebrity marketing and celebrity endorsement as separate things?
  • 4. Involvement
    • What could involvement mean with regards to using celebrities in marketing strategies?
    • Make a list of the different types of involvement a celebrity could have in making an object desirable.
  • 5. Focus/Angle
    • Task – If you were to choose this area of study what could you focus on? (angle)
    • What key texts may you use? (celebrities)
  • 6. Task
    • Choose a celebrity marketing campaign or celebrity endorsement.
    • Gather a range of texts that you will use as your primary analysis.

    • What persona does your celebrity embody and what does he/she market or endorse to heighten this persona?
