Slide 1: The Clever Deer

Slide 2: The Clever Deer The uncle loved his nephew very much. He agreed to teach him.

Slide 3: And so the little deer was taught some very important lessons in life for a deer.

Slide 4: The little deer loved to play with his friends in the forest.

Slide 5: Oh poor little deer! He could not break free from the trap. He asked his friends to help him.

Slide 6: The friends informed the little deer’s mother about the accident. She was very worried. She went to consult the wise stag. He told her that her son had learnt from him what to do.

Slide 7: The little deer thought deeply about the lessons he had learnt from his wise uncle.

Slide 8: Could the little deer escape? He decided to put into action the lesson his uncle taught him.

Slide 9: So the little deer calmly carried out his plan. The bad hunter wanted to kill any trapped animal. He had little compassion.

Slide 10: The hunter was delighted to find the trapped deer. On examining the deer closely, he thought the deer was dead.

Slide 11: The greedy and very hard-hearted hunter was looking forward to eating the flesh of the little deer.

Slide 12: And so the hunter, after opening the trap, went to look for some wood. What did the clever little deer do ?

Slide 13: So you see, our clever little deer learnt well from his wise uncle. The lessons he paid attention to probably saved his life.

Slide 14: The End May we be mindful and grow in our Compassion and Wisdom! With Metta, Bro. Oh Teik Bin
