“You Are Wonderful!”
Some years ago a famous singer had been contracted to sing
in the Paris Opera House. The sale of tickets was fantastic. On
the night of the scheduled performance, the feeling of

the Opera House came on the stage and made the following
“Ladies and gentlemen, thank you so much for your support. I
am sad to tell you that the man whom you’ve all come to hear
will not be able to perform because he is down with an illness.
However, we have found a suitable substitute we hope will

tell him about the three bones he referred to in his parting
advice to his son.
Sure, my friend," responded the old Irishman. “The three
important bones are the Wishbone, the Jawbone and the
“Why are these three bones important?” the stranger asked.
The old Irishman explained, “It’s the wishbone that keeps
you going after things; it’s the jawbone that helps you find
out how to go after them if you are not too proud to ask a
question when there’s something you don’t know, and it’s the
backbone that keeps you at it until you get there."
* In life, one has to have meaningful goals and set out with
patience, determination and endurance to attain the goal.
* We need to ask and learn from the wise ones who know as we set
out in life’s journey in pursuit of our goals.
* We should not give up or quit in our quest to attain the set goal.
Failure should not daunt us. Persistence is the golden thread that
runs through every success of man.
