  • Dear Lisa, I just wanted to reiterate how grateful we at JLC/YFC are for your support of Youth Fostering Change and the youth-developed discharge hearing form. We really appreciate your passion for easing the transition to adulthood for youth in care. Thank you for spreading the word about YFC’s project through Foster Club.  We’re also thrilled that you want to encourage the Ohio courts to implement the form. If we can provide any assistance with this, please let us know. We’ll have a new group of YFC members in the fall and expect to continue to engage our past members to be advocates for system change. It would be wonderful to find a way to work with youth from Ohio on a project. Sadly, Yowei and I will both soon be leaving JLC. Please contact Emily Keller at ekeller@jlc.org or Jess Sones at jsones@jlc.org if you would like to collaborate with YFC in the future. Thanks so much,Kate Katherine Burdick, Esq.Zubrow FellowJuvenile Law Center1315 Walnut St., 4th Fl.Philadelphia, PA  19107tel. 215.625.0551 ext. 124fax. 215.625.2808www.jlc.orgAdvancing the rights and well-being of children in jeopardy
