  • How intermediary open data applications: 1.  affect the awareness of the availability and potential value of open data among citizens; 2.  Are deployed to increase consumption and use of data; 3.  Impact citizens and improve governance. Objectives

  • Emerging Findings (i) Media most popular source of government information
  • Emerging Findings (i) Only 10% of all respondents had heard of open data before with 7% having heard of the Kenya Open Data Initiative and portal.
