Performances A quick benchmark between 1.6 and 1.5.14:  22% lighter  Similar just after the installation process  extremely faster with lots of concurrent requests ( 100 requests = 11% faster )

ACL: groups It will be possible to create unlimited groups

ACL: access levels It will be possible to create unlimited access levels

ACL: multi-group users It will be possible to assign different gorups to a user

Menu: UI and layouts A new user friendly menu interface: Introduction of featured articles view

Menu: module management The new menu inteface allow to edit module settings for a single menu item

Articoli  Featured articles  Support for nested categories  TinyMCE 3.2  Easier article linking procedure

Articles: permissions Possibility to set editing permissions to single articles

Components  Native components support nested categories ( ie. Weblinks )  A new ”Redirects” component  Nested category integration, in 3 party rd developers extensions, will be easier
