Audio Handling authorSTREAM handles narrated audio presentations very well. Audio is retained in narrated PowerPoint presentations when uploaded to authorSTREAM. Users can also create audio presentations using live audio or pre-recorded audio as input in authorPOINT and upload to authorSTREAM. SlideShare provides the “slidecast” feature in which users need to synchronize audio online after uploading audio onto their own server or some other server.

Presenters can upload presentations directly from within PowerPoint with this add-on software.

SlideShare lets non-members also access private presentations. Anyone can view private presentations on SlideShare, who gets access to the URL.
