    • 1. Windows Slave Installation
    • 2. Slave Installation Steps
      • Download the slave installer
      • Run the installer
      • Edit the firewall
      • Add the slave details to the UI
      • Check that the slave service has started
      • Check the setup in the UI
    • 3. Step 1: Download the Installer
      • Discovery > Credentials > Slave Management
      • Choose the installer to download
      • The installer is pre-configured to work with the appliance it is downloaded from
    • 4. Step 2: Run the Installer
      • Uninstall existing slave software using the uninstaller
      • Run the installer as a local administrator
    • 5. Step 3: Edit the Firewall
      • Now check the slave’s firewall (if needed)
        • Click on Start-> Settings-> Control Panel-> Windows Firewall
        • Click on the “Exception” tab
          • Click on the “Add Port” button and add port number for the slave type
        • Click ok and ok when finished
    • 6. Step 4: Add the Slave Details to the UI (1)
      • Discovery > Credentials > Slave Management
      • Click on the appropriate “Add x Slave” button
    • 7. Step 4: Add the Slave Details to the UI (2)
      • For a Credential Slave
        • Provide a name and the Slave Host IP address
        • Take the default port and click “Apply”
    • 8. Step 4: Add the Slave Details to the UI (3)
      • For a Workgroup Slave
        • Provide a name and the Slave Host IP address
        • Take the default port and click “Apply”
    • 9. Step 4: Add the Slave Details to the UI (4)
      • For an Active Directory Slave
        • Provide a name and the Slave Host IP address
        • Provide the domain
        • Take the default port and click “Apply”
    • 10. Step 5: Check the Service
      • For an AD Slave:
        • Check the service is running with the AD credentials required
      • Start the
      • service
    • 11. Step 6: Check the Setup in the UI
      • Discovery > Credentials > Slave Management
        • Check the “Status” is “Active”
        • “ Ping” option in Action drop down forces a reconnection test
    • 12. Slave Management in the UI
    • 13. Removing Slaves
      • Discovery > Credentials > Slave Management
        • “ Delete” option in Action drop down
        • Confirm warning
    • 14. Disabling Slaves
      • Discovery > Credentials > Slave Management
        • “ Manage” option in Action drop down
        • Toggle enabled as needed and click “Apply”
