  • 3. The 4500 feet long, 750 feetwide, and 25 stories high worldtraveling city, named TheFreedom Ship is home of thehigh-end beauty salon called,Freedom salon. This salon consistsof public areas such as, manicureand pedicure stations, a massagearea, wig retail, refreshment barand styling stations. the spacealso provides the employees withthe ability to work in a sterilizedand organized work zone withlockable drawers and shelving,along with numerous amounts ofstorage space. Supporting thesterilized needs of this space theprivate mechanical room andutility room supply adequateequipment to make sure thatthese needs are being met. Themanager and owners also needtheir space to get away andwork on private documentation,therefore the private officeprovides the ability to get awayfrom the hustle and bustle of theeveryday salon life.1

  • 5. NAME: SUZANNE HARLOWSUZANNE HARLOW IS A WELL ESTABLISHED BEAUTICIAN WITH 40 PLUS YEARS OF EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCE. SHE HASWORKED AT 7 DIFFERENT SALONS, CONDUCTED NUMEROUS EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS, AND STYLED ON THE ROOF TOPS OFITALY. SUZANNE IS STARTING A NEW ADVENTURE BY OPENING UP A SALON ON THE FLOATING CITY CALLED THE FREEDOMSHIP. THE 25 STORY, 750 FT WIDE, 4500 FT LONG SHIP WILL “CREATE A UNIQUE LIFESTYLE THAT ALLOWS FAMILIES ANDINDIVIDUALS TO WORK, LIVE, AND TRAVEL SIMULTANEOUSLY.” SUZANNE’S SALON NEEDS TO MEET ALL OF THE HEALTHCARE REQUIREMENTS AS WELL AS THE WANTS AND NEEDS OF THE CONSUMERS.   • 8. The Freedom Salon is a space dedicated to the necessities of the consumers as wellas the employees. Focusing on ERGONOMICS, the furniture will provide easy usageand comfort, and also allowing the stylist to conduct their job to their upmostcapabilities. This will increase productivity and comfort simultaneously. This will alsohelp prevent FIBROMYALGIA. STERILIZATION is highly important. Guaranteeing aclean work zone ensures the customers return, and also by preventing infectionwith the proper dispensary areas supports the needs of cleanliness. Allowing thecustomers to have a tranquil and stress free experience there needs to be properACOUSTICAL treatment. The office and massage rooms will be treated properly tobe able to conduct private and secure matters. Proper VENTILATION will allow theclient and stylist to have clean air to breathe while in the space. Lockable cabinetsand storage areas will offer the SECURITY needed for this space. Conducting theproper needs of the clients the SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT will help the employees toperform to the fullest potential with less maintenance and longer lastingperformance.6
