Large-area graphene films will transform markets in sensors, energy capture and storage, desalination, thermal management, and flexible electronics, but none of these applications will be possible until graphene can be produced reliably and cost-effectively at industrial scale. Graphene has solved the problems of scale: Graphene films can now be mass-produced and transferred to nearly any substrate. Graphene Frontiers’ patent pending method for low cost production and etch-free transfer of graphene films eliminates the need for hazardous chemicals and is suitable for roll-to-roll production at industrial scale.
