Continued <ul><li>Have a son in 5 th grade and a daughter in 2nd grade. </li></ul><ul><li>Have been very involved in the school community my whole life </li></ul><ul><li>Am completely motivated and very excited to be here at Stony Creek! </li></ul><ul><li>Know that your children will be loved, supported and in a safe environment! </li></ul>

  13. 13. Technology <ul><li>We will incorporate technology into all aspects of the curriculum </li></ul><ul><li>We are the “home” of the Mac cart for 3 rd grade and we plan to utilize them as much as possible! </li></ul><ul><li>Smart board activities have already begun! </li></ul>
  14. 14. Rubric Based Assessments <ul><li>B= beginning A=approaching M=meeting E=exceeding </li></ul><ul><li>Report card will parallel with three trimesters </li></ul><ul><li>PSSA’s are in April 12 th -April-16 th </li></ul>

Students of the month <ul><li>2-3 students will be randomly selected each month </li></ul><ul><li>They will have the opportunity to bring in their favorite picture book and read to the class </li></ul><ul><li>We will take their picture and place it with their book in the showcase </li></ul>
