  4. 4. What is Antimony (Sb)?• Antimony is recognised as a strategic metal.• It is used as a flame retardant in children’s clothes, toys, specialty clothing, plastic bottles, plastics, auto and aircraft seat covers, sofas, cushions, fluffy furniture.• It is used as an alloying element in batteries, ammunition, cable sheaths, pumps and pipes.• It is also used as a clarifying element in glass bottles and optical products.• It has the unique property of expanding when cooled.• Substitution has proved largely unsuccessful (0.64% according to EC report 07/2010)
  5. 5. Supply and Demand Picture• Increasing Uses• Decreasing Global Production• 91% of Global Production is Chinese• 50+% of Production is one Company• Are They Running Out?• Are They Cornering the Market?• Fear of Lack of Supply• Governments are Waking Up
  6. 6. The Antimony Business• Antimony prices have recently climbed higher to over $14,000/MT.• The price of antimony generally rose during 2010. It started the year at about $1.93 per pound and finished December at about $5.54 per pound.• Chinese government is not allowing any new antimony mining permits until at least June 2011 due to rapidly depleting resources.• Chinese companies have been buying additional antimony Evolution of Sb price mining capacity sources: Bloomberg & MinorMetals abroad.
  7. 7. The Antimony Business• There are no producing sources of antimony in the EU and the commission has identified it as a critical raw material in short supply (EC Report - July 2010 - Critical raw materials for the EU)• There is only one producing antimony mine in all of North America (Chinese owned!)• Italy’s government recently called for an end to the EU tariff on antimony imports because their industries were having trouble procuring any supply.• Without a producing antimony mine, Italy, and the EU are in a very vulnerable position.
  8. 8. Who else does Antimony…• EC and USGS reports dated 2010 give us the following information:Raw Material Main producing Main EU Import Import country sources dependence (2010)Antimony 2009 2007 EU 100% China 91% Bolivia 77% USA 100% Bolivia 2% China 15% Russia 2% Peru 6%Country Mine Production Reserves 2008 2009Bolivia 3,500 4,500 310,000China 180,000 170,000 790,000Russia 3,500 3,000 350,000South Africa 2,800 3,000 44,000Tajikistan 2,000 2,000 50,000Other countries 5,000 4,000 150,000 World total (rounded) 197,000 187,000 1,700,000
  9. 9. ADT & Antimony in ItalyObjective: To show 100,000 MT of mineable Antimony resources in 43-101 resource calculations and have a 10 year mine lifeHow will we do it?1. Current historic resources are nearly 50,000 MT of contained metal (not ore).2. We will continue exploration on open antimony deposits on currently held properties.3. We will expand our antimony resources by acquiring other properties known, or thought, to contain antimony resources.
  10. 10. ADT & Antimony in ItalyIn Italy, Adroit Resources Inc. holds interests in the following properties:• I Monti with 273 hectares• Poggio Fogari with 439 hectares• I Salaioli with 366 hectares• Poggio Monticchio with 162 hectares• Faggio Scritto with 246 hectares• Poggio Pietricci with 653 hectares
  11. 11. The way forwardFOR ITALY• Management is pleased to report that field work resumed in November 2010 on its wholly owned antimony permits in Grosseto Province, Italy. The ongoing program comprises soil and rock sampling, ground geophysical surveying, geological mapping and drilling.• Drilling is planned to start in the Summer of 2011 with the objective of producing compliant resource calculations contained within the Company’s exploration permits. News Release Jan 10
  12. 12. The Way Forward For Antimony• Build Italian Compliant Resources• Expand Italian Open Deposits• Acquire More Italian Antimony• Acquire More Antimony Elsewhere• Become Largest non-Chinese Holder
  13. 13. Outline BudgetRaising up to $3,500,000 ($1,300,000 already secured) for:• Commencing a 43-101 resource calculation on historic antimony resources in Italy.• Continue drilling our VMS discovery at Red Vein in the Shining Tree Camp of Ontario.
