    6. 6. Ten Years, Ten Promises… <ul><li>As Young People we have been promised that ten things will happen within the next ten years. These are: </li></ul><ul><li>New and improved places for Young People </li></ul><ul><li>Expansion of YOF/YCF </li></ul><ul><li>Councils to concentrate on Young Peoples views </li></ul><ul><li>Create opportunities for us to develop skills </li></ul><ul><li>To target disadvantaged Young People </li></ul>
    7. 7. <ul><li>Celebrate Young People becoming adults </li></ul><ul><li>Providing activities in an accessible manner for those who need it most </li></ul><ul><li>Giving disadvantaged Young People a chance to mix with others away from home </li></ul><ul><li>Accessible information to all Young People, letting them know what is on offer </li></ul><ul><li>Provide activities which are affordable, easy to get to and safe for Young People </li></ul>

Aiming High <ul><li>Positives: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Guaranteed extension of YOF/YCF until 2011 </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Greater active participation from Young People </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Working alongside elected members in local councils </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Young People make decisions for 25% of youth activities and facilities by 2018 </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Involving Young People to give them a greater sense of pride in their local community </li></ul></ul>
