CWDC works to improve the lives of children, young people and families by: <ul><li>ensuring people working with children have the best possible training, qualifications, support and advice; </li></ul><ul><li>and </li></ul><ul><li>helping children’s organisations and services work together so the child is at the centre of services. </li></ul>

    10. 10. Key messages..1 <ul><li>IW is massive cultural change </li></ul><ul><li>IW more effective with YP participation </li></ul><ul><li>Private sector to be included in partnerships and training (esp Early Yrs) </li></ul><ul><li>3 rd sector can be invaluable </li></ul>

Key messages..2 <ul><li>Strategic direction and leadership is crucial to engage whole service </li></ul><ul><li>… then “get on with it” </li></ul><ul><li>Continued support after training </li></ul><ul><li>Best training material was practical </li></ul><ul><li>LP best embraced as change of focus rather than ‘add-on’ </li></ul>
