  • 2. Texting is something that nearly every teen has gone through to some extent. However for some of the teens this can lead to severe problems – a teen texting addiction.
  • 3. Typical teen texting addiction symptoms..
  • 4. One of the first signs – continuous increase in cellphone charges for texting fees
  • 5. Excessive texting by a teen
  • 6. Going to bed and waking up with texting
  • 7. Spending more time on texting than actually speaking with family or friends in comparison to what it was before
  • 8. More attention to phone than what’s going on around
  • 9. Texting while driving this one is very serious
  • 10. Texting as communication is not the problem. It is the way and the amount of texting times what makes it dangerous.
  • 11. The teen may loose it’s connection to reality. Nothing becomes more important than receiving back the respose message.
  • 12. And once they have gotten a message back they’ll send another response to that and again will be expecting a new message back.
  • 13. This is exactly how it’s getting into a loop .
  • 14. You have to stop it!
  • 15. If allowed to continue it may result in some of the following:
  • 16. Distraction in normal everyday communication with persons around – family and friends
  • 17. Distracted from everyday tasks – there is simply less time left on this
  • 18. Total loss of interest in whats happening around
  • 19. The results at school becomes worse
  • 20. Texting while driving puts the teens life in direct risk . And the life of others too ..
  • 21. Help is needed to solve this!
  • 22. To deal with the problem you have to be precise, smart and know exactly how to do it.
  • 23. You have to make the teen want to quit the excessive texting by him- or her self .
  • 24. With clever tactics you can make this work!
