  1. 1. January 2013Roadmap monthly newsletter In this issue Case StudyEditorial Transport sacco adopts IT system to enhance the control of vehiclesI ts now official! Frotcom is preparing the launch of a new Workforce Management module. The launch is scheduled to take place in the first quarter of 2013, following a period of field tests which has already begun. New and Events Frotcom International has strengthened the team Frotcom Romania sponsors The new module will allow companies to interact The Roadmanians Team with their mobile workforce – drivers, technicians in the Budapest – Bamako or salespeople, for instance – by sending to their Rally 2013 tablets, over-the-air, service orders (jobs) and collecting the corresponding job statuses. The system also allows the workers to fill in the This and much more… necessary forms at each step of the way, according to the instructions set by the company. As examples of such forms, think of an unloading form or of a refuelling form. The new module can be completely integrated, by linking Frotcom to the company’s backoffice (linking to ERP software, for example). Therefore, the job statuses and forms can be processed by the company’s backoffice, after being collected from the workers by Frotcom.Additionally, the onboard system includes features such as sending and receivingmessages, integrated navigation – including truck mode as option – and thetriggering of alerts (driving behaviour related or other alerts generated by Frotcom),among other features. The on-board system is completely autonomous and can be used even out of thevehicle, optionally, which can be quite convenient to collect signatures fromcustomers, for instance, as a proof of delivery or service acceptance.A great advantage of the new system is that it can be configured for eachcompany’s needs. Not only the forms can be defined for each company, but theworkflow for each type of job is also configurable, taking the driver, technician orsalesperson through a very controlled workflow. The status of each job can befollowed in Frotcom’s web interface in real time.If you’d like to be among the first companies to try the new module, as soon as it isavailable, please contact your Frotcom Certified Partner. We believe you’ll be aspleased as we are.Valério Marques, CEO - Frotcom InternationalA note from the editor – If you would like to have your own say in the next edition of this newsletter please donot hesitate to get in touch at roadmap@frotcom.com.Roadmap Monthly Newsletter | roadmap@frotcom.com | Tel + 351 214 135 670 | www.frotcom.comFrotcom - Vehicle Tracking .
