  • Filing cabinet
  • Flyers on bulletin boards, cup at the grocery store, volunteers handing out brochures
  • Get donations from the community
  • Then folks figured out how to get these (index cards and rolodex) into these (excel spreadsheets)
  • And the Accidental Techie was born
  • NTEN was formed in 2000 so that
  • These folks (accidental techies, IT staff, ED’s and Program Staff)
  • Could connect with these folks (John Kenyon types)
  • And these guys (John Kenyon types) could connect with each other
  • And these guys (accidental techies) could connect with each other (support)
  • And all of those folks, could be heard by these folks (vendors)
  • But we NTEN doesn’t stop there, because once we have all these folks connecting, we can then help them to
