  • 1. Blogger Want to start a Blog? Use… Tutorial by Noreen Strehlow

    • Go to Google and sign up for a free Gmail account
      • Keep your login and password similar to one of your other accounts so you will remember it. (my personal suggestion)
  • 3. Under Google Search click on more Choose even more
  • 4. Choose Blogger See, isn’t this easy?
  • 5. Sign in using your new Gmail login and password Take the tour or just get started!
  • 6. Sign up for Blogger using your new Gmail account Accept the Terms of Service
  • 7. Give your blog a name that is pertinant to your class such as “News from Ms Strehlow’s 5 th Grade” Keep the URL simple and write it down till you can bookmark it
  • 8. This is the hardest part, choosing a template style Don’t worry, you can change it later if you don’t like it.
  • 9. Woo Hoo! Start your first post! Now tell us what is going on in your classroom! You can even add a photo of your students but no last names for their safety!
  • 10. Add a hyperlink, photo, or video
  • 11. You can also change the page layout & add elements
  • 12. Here are the current page elements available for your blog. Remember: Less is More when it comes to design!
  • 13. The Dashboard is where you can manage your blog When you are done, send me your link so I can put it on your school web site! My Email
