IFLAdial follow-up background working group: kick-off in Helsinki last year looking at improving communications within IFLA the report (http://www.ifla.org/publications/70) feedback by IFLA activists via social media, mailing lists, and an online survey handed over to Professional Committee and Governing Board in Dec 2012 short term effects welcomed by PC and GB, positive signs: WLIC2013 preparations, ProfSpeak blog discussions about online conferencing tools, communication built on inclusion further action needed still many areas of improvement: website, social media strategy, support of volunteers collaborative effort: IFLA HQ, (new) GB and PC members, activists – spread the word!
