  • 1. To create an application shortcut, point Chrome to www.picnik.com .
  • 2. Once you are at the Picnik website, click on the Page Menu.
  • 3. Select Create Application Shortcuts.
  • 4. A window will open asking where you want the shortcut to live. We’ll choose Desktop.
  • 5. Here’s the Application Shortcut to Picnik.
  • 6. Now, if I want to edit a photo in Picnik, I don’t have to go to the website. I can just open my Application Shortcut.
  • 7. Notice the top of the window. There’s no address bar and no tabs.
  • 8. But I’m still on the Picnik website. And getting there was fast, thanks to the Application Shortcut.
