  • WMU News Our WMU is collecting hand soap and deodorant for the men and women that are residents at Tennessee Baptist Adult Homes, Rainbow Acres, Knoxville. These supplies can be dropped off in the WMU room. Thank you for helping us with this project.
  • WMU News 2011-2012 Theme : Wherefore, seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith: who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
  • Christmas Cards Christmas cards are again being distributed through December 21. Please address your cards, place them in alphabetical order, tie them together and place them in the foyer drop off boxes to be sorted into church mailboxes. Be sure to check your mailbox and pick up your cards! A copy of the Christmas card list is in the library. Payment for “distributing” your cards can be given to Sheri Stephens, Debbie McDaniel or Audrey Stephens. The cost is 10 cents per card and is used for missions.

  • JUST A REMINDER: If you have had any problems with your LifeTouch photos due to mailing issues or print issues please contact LifeTouch at 1-888-313-1746. They will replace your picture. Thank you.
  • Help Needed – Sound Department The sound department needs workers to operate the computer during the worship services. If you are interested in training for this, please contact Adam Gregory.
  • Laundry Love Ministry (4th Saturday of each month) needs your quarters!
  • Food Pantry Needs : Our church food pantry is available to help meet needs in our church and community. Please contact Larry and Patsy Neal at 420-0908 or Doug and Carolyn Hopper at 442-2286 if you have any questions about the Food Pantry, need assistance or know of a family that needs help.
  • Parking Lot Patrol Men are needed to watch the parking lot during the worship service times during the holiday season. Please contact Jerry McDaniel to sign up to help.
  • Kids Praise/Choir : Returning in JANUARY... KID’S PRAISE/CHOIR on Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m. We have Bible study, learn Biblical truths, sing, and play instruments, handbells and fun music games.
  • TeamKid and Children’s Sunday School Department are collecting canned fruit and canned soup to build a “CAN CHRISTMAS TREE” for our own church food pantry. Drop off boxes are located in the foyer. The kids will add the canned fruit and soup to our Christmas tree downstairs, and it will later become part our church food pantry. Please help us by bringing canned fruit and canned soup.
  • TeamKid will meet on Wednesday evening, December 14 at 7:00 pm. We will NOT meet on December 21 or December 28. We will be back on our regular schedule starting January 4.
  • Thank you to everyone that donated coats to the TeamKid Coat Collection Drive. They will provide warmth to someone that did not have one.
