Most of today’s leaders did not “grow up” in Agile development shops. For so many of us, we were raised on waterfall, spent most of our years as a developer in this model, and we now lead a team of developers/testers/etc. in a process that we never worked in. Does that mean we can’t do it effectively and efficiently? Absolutely not! However, it isn’t easy.
