Files
Files are some of the most important resources you will use.
Every document, picture, or sound you work with is a file.
You need to group all your files and to keep track of all your files, you need to group them in a logical way.
In Windows, you do this by creating folders, which store related files.
Folders
One folder might store documents you create (such as a memo in Word or a workbook in Excel), while another might store pictures you download from the Internet.
My Documents.
This folder is a convenient place to store documents, spreadsheets, and other files you want to access quickly.
Subfolder
You can have folders within folders to provide additional levels of organization.
My Pictures.
This subfolder of My Documents has special capabilities for handling picture files.
My Music.
This subfolder of My Documents has special capabilities for handling music files.
