  Evolutionary programming is in fact already noted, it was supposed to be the second 'genetic programming' entry. I do not rank ANN among metaheuristics, because it is already classified in the more generalistic 'computational intelligence' category in the litterature. Tierra (the computer simulation ?) is not either explicitely a global optimization algorithm.

  Pretty cool. But, where do you leave neural nets? Evoutionary programming? Stuff like Tierra?
