  • 4.  FIRST EVER International film festival of NAVI MUMBAI.
  • 5.  280 National & International film entries from all over the world with participation of 35 countries where most filmmakers of commercial & independent cinema belong to.
  • 6.  To become an international platform to discover, support and inspire independent film makers by showcasing their talent to the global audience under the sky of this beautiful city which has been deprived so far with any film festival of this stature.  Bringing Navi Mumbai on International Spot light.  Give a platform to local hidden talent and expose them to international cinema.  International work shops & seminars of film Industry professionals.
  • 7.  Although Navi Mumbai has seen immense development over the years, there are not many avenues for Theatre, Cinema & Film making here. These are aspects that shape the culture of a place and thus have to be given more importance.
  • 8.  This is a competitive festival of films where films from all over the world are invited from International, National & Regional filmmakers. The best films will be shortlisted for screening in various categories. The winners will be selected by a panel of esteemed jury members and awarded with cash prizes and trophies.  This 3 day festival is scheduled on 31st January,1st & 2nd February 2014( Friday,Saturday & Sunday).
  • 9.  Padmashree D Y Patil Auditorium , Nerul.  One of the Biggest Auditorium in Navi Mumbai with seating capacity of about 800 audience.  Located in the nucleus of Navi Mumbai.  Highway, Bus Depot & a Railway station in a radius of less than 1km.
  • 10.  1) Student shorts 2) Professional Shorts 3) Feature Films  Short Films:- Duration of 30 minutes or less.  Ad Film:- Duration of 1 minutes less.  Animation short Film:- Duration of 30 minutes or less.  Documentary short film:- Duration of 30 minutes or less.  Social Awareness Film:- Duration of 30 minutes or less.  Music Video:- Duration of 5 minutes or less.  Feature Films :- Duration of 90 minutes or more.
  • 11.  The best creation gets a chance to win cash award, Trophy and gifts in various categories for winners & runner ups. Prize money for different categories:  a) Student Shorts: Best film- Rs 20,000 Rs,Trophy & Certificate  b)Professional Shorts: Best Film-Rs 40,000 ,Trophy & Certificate  c) Feature Film: Best Film-Rs 1,00,000 ,Trophy & Certificate.
  • 12.    Mr. Marc Baschet, Head of Jury Marc Baschet is a renowned film director and producer from France. He has won an Oscar for ‘No Man’s Land’ and ‘Heaven’, ‘Before the Rain’, ’Rain of Life’ are some of his acclaimed films. He also won the Golden Globes Award for No Man’s Land. The film went on to win several international awards making Marc Baschet a name to reckon with not only in France but across the globe. Mr. Imtiaz Hussain Mr. Imtiaz Hussain is a writer and director of national fame, known for Vaastav: The Reality (1999), Ghulam-E-Musthafa (1997), National Award winning film, Astitva (2000) and National Award winning film, Parinda (1989) etc. Mrs. Rohini Hattanagadi Rohini Hattangadi is an Indian actress of film, theatre and television. She has won two Filmfare Awards, one National Film Award, and is the only Indian actress to win the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance as Kasturba Gandhi in Gandhi (1982). Respected for her acting prowess, she has appeared in over 80 feature films, and is active in theatre and television.
  • 13.  A global networking with massive reach in millions on social media platforms along with our online media partners with giant names like NEW YORK FILM ACADEMY as our partner & supporter.  Online partners with youth & student groups to make extensive reach to young filmmakers.  Volunteers in most of the BMM colleges.  Support of Colleges & NGO’s of Navi Mumbai through aggressive campaigning.
