  • 8. 6. Boolean Search
    • Use AND to narrow search
      • Ex: cat AND dog will list sites containing both words.
    • Use NOT to narrow search
      • Ex: cat NOT dog
    • Use OR to broaden search
  • 9. 7. Take Notes
    • Title of book, periodical, website. Include author, date published.
    • Include page #

    • Start with general works (dictionaries, print and electronic encyclopedias, atlases)
