    • History Of Cricket bats
    • Front Foot Defense
      • Grip the bat firmly
      • Lift your bat to stump level
      • Move your front leg towards the pitch of the ball
      • Move your bat towards your pad and should be parallel to each other
      • There should be no gap between pad and bat
    • Back Foot Defense
              • Keep eyes level to the horizontal
              • Move the back foot back and across the wicket
              • Head over the bat
              • Place the bat to the line of the ball
    • Straight Drive
              • Play the shot when the ball is on the off or middle stick
              • Lean forward with front shoulder
              • High back swing
              • Head forward and back foot on toes
              • Keep the bat straight with wrist relaxed
              • Keep bat angled towards the ground
    • Square Cut
      • PLAY THE SHOT WHEN THE BALL IS AWAY FORM THE HALF STICK
      • LEAN BACKWARDS WITH WEIGHT ON YOUR BACK FOOT
      • THE BAT SHOULD BE TAKEN AT SHOULDER HEIGHT
      • EXTEND YOUR ARMS

              • Lean forward

              • High batswing
              • Bring bat down and across
              • Extend your arms

    • Pull Shot
              • When a short delivery is bowled play the pull shot

              • Head shoulder and bat to be moved back and across
              • Move the front leg back and towards the leg side
              • Swing bat down and roll wrist
    • Hook Shot
            • When a short delivery is bowled play the hook shot
            • Head shoulder an back foot should move back and across
            • The front should move back and towards leg side
            • Keep the hands high
