Did You Know? Frequently Asked Questions I want to sign up for a class, but it is not listed in the online schedule. How do I register for it? If you don’t see a specific class section in the online schedule, that is because the class is not accepting registrations at this time. The class may be full, or may not be offered at this time. Contact us for more information about the class, and when it may be offered again in the future. I didn’t receive a confirmation email when I registered for a class. How do I update my contact information? It is the student’s responsibility to update any changes to contact information (email, home address). Student information is not automatically updated when a new course registration is received. To make changes to your student record, you must complete a Student Permanent Records Change Form, which can be downloaded from our website. The forms should be signed and then sent to the CE Registrar’s Office. I am paying for someone else to take a class. What do I need to do? If you are paying for someone else, such as an employer paying on behalf of an employee, you will want to use Sponsorship Billing. Sponsorship Billing ensures refunds, if necessary, are issued to the payer rather than the student. (Please note that online registration is not currently available for Sponsorship Billing.) If you are interested in setting up a sponsorship, please contact the CE Registrar’s Office at 919-335-1044. If not, you may continue with online registration and any refund will be issued directly to the student. When can I register? Registration for Continuing Education classes is ongoing throughout the year. If a class appears in the online schedule, that means space is still available and the class is open for registration. Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the minimum number of students necessary for classes to be held, we encourage you to sign up at least one week before the class starts.
