  • BRIEF HISTORY :
    • The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation was established in August,1961 under the provisions of Road Transport Corporation Act 1950 with the objective of providing “adequate, efficient, economic and properly coordinated road transport services” .
    • KSRTC operates around 5700 schedules
    • KSRTC fleet strength at 6600 vehicles
    • Infrastructure of KSRTC include a Corporate Office, 13 Divisional Offices, 61 Depots, two Bus Bodybuilding Workshops, one Printing Press, 119 Bus Stands and 3 Training Institutes.
