COMMUNICATION
The word „communication‟ comes from the
Latin word „Communicare‟ which means to
make common, to share, to transmit or to
impart.
 According to Peter Little,
“Communication is a process by which
information is transmitted between
individuals and/or organizations so that an
understanding response results.”

Communication requires a sender, a
message and a recipient.
 Effective communication occurs when a
desired effect is the result of intentional or
unintentional information sharing, which is
interpreted between multiple entities and
acted on in a desired way.

LETTERS
LETTERS
Writing a letter is a simple mode of
communication that allows you to send
messages to friends and family.
 In business, letters are still used frequently.
When applying for jobs, you will need to
write a cover letter to include with your
resume detailing your education, work
experience and why you are the best
candidate for the job.


USES OF TELEVISION


Television has a number of uses. First of all, it
makes it possible for us to see what is
happening far away. In our homes we watch
on television, films or events taking place in
other cities, countries and other continents.
The artificial satellites have made it possible
to watch events in other countries directly.
Television is a very fine medium of
entertainment. It brings musician and the
music, singer and his singing and actor and
his acting close to us. Whether it is rain or
sunshine, hot or cold, we can enjoy television
programmes within four walls of our homes.
ADVANTAGES


Television is without doubt the most
effective medium to deliver information to
large numbers of people very quickly.
News in one part of the world can be
seen within minutes or even seconds in
any other part of the world.
The variety of channels available offer a
way to get several different views of
events. Having a single editor's opinion
forced upon us is unlikely in most parts
of the world.
DISADVANTAGES


Television is often the main or only
source of information about current
events and biased or inadequate
reporting can deliver inaccurate or
misleading information and opinion.
Some of the companies use it for sex
TV films and programs , and that of
course case a lot of social problems.
RADIO


Radio is the wireless transmission of
signals through free space by
electromagnetic radiation of a
frequency significantly below that of
visible light, in the radio frequency
range, from about 30 kHz to 300 GHz.
These waves are called radio waves.
Electromagnetic radiation travels by
means of oscillating electromagnetic
waves that pass through the air and the
vaccum of space.

A Medium That Disseminates Printed

 One of

the oldest and also remains to be one of the
most popular forms of advertising reaching a wider
target audience.
It is an

industry which gathers and publishes news in
the form of newspapers, magazines and other printed
publications.

Whoever controls the Print media, controls the
mind.

Newspapers
Newspapers are the most popular forms of print media.
The advertiser in this case can choose from a daily newspaper to a
weekly tabloid. Different types of newspaper cater to various
audiences and one can select the particular category accordingly

Magazines
Magazines also offer advertisers an opportunity to incorporate various
new techniques and ideas. Magazines are one such form of print
media that give a more specific target group to the client. The client
can make a choice of the particular magazine as per the product.
Newsletters
Newsletters also form an important part of Print media.
These target a specific group of audience and give
information on the product.


Brochures
Brochures give detailed information about the product. These
are mainly distributed at events or even at the main outlet
when a consumer needs to read in detail about the product.


Posters
Posters are forms of outdoor advertising. The message in a
poster has to be brief and eye-catching as it targets a person on the
move.


Mobile Communication
The first wireline telephone system was
introduced in the year 1877.
 Mobile communications have become so
widespread that the total number of cell
phone subscriptions was 4.6 billion,
according to the U.N. telecommunications
agency.
 It's difficult to conceive that a technology
could see such widespread adoption if it
didn't offer numerous advantages.
 In some cases, people run their entire lives
from the palm of their hand with a
smartphone.


two-way video and audio transmissions.
 It has also been called 'visual collaboration'


  • 4. COMMUNICATION The word „communication‟ comes from the Latin word „Communicare‟ which means to make common, to share, to transmit or to impart.  According to Peter Little, “Communication is a process by which information is transmitted between individuals and/or organizations so that an understanding response results.” 
  • 5. Communication requires a sender, a message and a recipient.  Effective communication occurs when a desired effect is the result of intentional or unintentional information sharing, which is interpreted between multiple entities and acted on in a desired way. 
  • 7. LETTERS Writing a letter is a simple mode of communication that allows you to send messages to friends and family.  In business, letters are still used frequently. When applying for jobs, you will need to write a cover letter to include with your resume detailing your education, work experience and why you are the best candidate for the job. 

  • 10. USES OF TELEVISION  Television has a number of uses. First of all, it makes it possible for us to see what is happening far away. In our homes we watch on television, films or events taking place in other cities, countries and other continents. The artificial satellites have made it possible to watch events in other countries directly. Television is a very fine medium of entertainment. It brings musician and the music, singer and his singing and actor and his acting close to us. Whether it is rain or sunshine, hot or cold, we can enjoy television programmes within four walls of our homes.
  • 11. ADVANTAGES  Television is without doubt the most effective medium to deliver information to large numbers of people very quickly. News in one part of the world can be seen within minutes or even seconds in any other part of the world. The variety of channels available offer a way to get several different views of events. Having a single editor's opinion forced upon us is unlikely in most parts of the world.

DISADVANTAGES  Television is often the main or only source of information about current events and biased or inadequate reporting can deliver inaccurate or misleading information and opinion. Some of the companies use it for sex TV films and programs , and that of course case a lot of social problems.

  • 14.  Radio is the wireless transmission of signals through free space by electromagnetic radiation of a frequency significantly below that of visible light, in the radio frequency range, from about 30 kHz to 300 GHz. These waves are called radio waves. Electromagnetic radiation travels by means of oscillating electromagnetic waves that pass through the air and the vaccum of space.

A Medium That Disseminates Printed  One of the oldest and also remains to be one of the most popular forms of advertising reaching a wider target audience. It is an industry which gathers and publishes news in the form of newspapers, magazines and other printed publications.   • 18. Types of Print Media Newspapers Newspapers are the most popular forms of print media. The advertiser in this case can choose from a daily newspaper to a weekly tabloid. Different types of newspaper cater to various audiences and one can select the particular category accordingly Magazines Magazines also offer advertisers an opportunity to incorporate various new techniques and ideas. Magazines are one such form of print media that give a more specific target group to the client. The client can make a choice of the particular magazine as per the product.
  • 19. Newsletters Newsletters also form an important part of Print media. These target a specific group of audience and give information on the product.  Brochures Brochures give detailed information about the product. These are mainly distributed at events or even at the main outlet when a consumer needs to read in detail about the product.  Posters Posters are forms of outdoor advertising. The message in a poster has to be brief and eye-catching as it targets a person on the move. 

Mobile Communication The first wireline telephone system was introduced in the year 1877.  Mobile communications have become so widespread that the total number of cell phone subscriptions was 4.6 billion, according to the U.N. telecommunications agency.  It's difficult to conceive that a technology could see such widespread adoption if it didn't offer numerous advantages.  In some cases, people run their entire lives from the palm of their hand with a smartphone. 
