Suhrud Mandal was established in 1973 to empower and enrich the lives of hearing impaired. Every year 25,000 children are born with hearing impairment in India. No hearing means, no language, no academics, limited financial independence and poor quality of life. Suhrud Mandal wishes to transform their lifestyle, started with 5 children and now has 500 children with hearing impairment enrolled in four of their schools.
